She was predeceased by: her father John Brown; her former husband Alva Langley; her children, Debra Eheart and John Langley; and her sister Gladys Kamboris.
She is survived by: her husband John Christena of Garner; her children, Steve Godwin (Kay) of Phenix, AL, David Langley (Renee) of Apex, NC and Donna Riley (Andrew) of Smithfield, NC; and her sister Barbara Bixler of Phenix, AL. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren with one on the way and 20 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to local food banks to feed children or the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC 1924 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604.
