Best (Vickie) of Wilson, NC; her sons, Johnnie Decaris Shepherd of Selma, NC and Shelton Maurice Shepherd of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Tymetrius Haley and D'Andre Shepherd of Selma, NC; her stepchildren, Meschell Forte, Angela "Toni" Charles of Darlington, SC and Anthony Yelverton of Goldsboro, NC; and her stepgrandchildren, Tinikia "Cheri" Forte, Antuawn Forte, Shenita Yelverton, Mekeba McMillian and Jeorge Forte. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
