It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jaddius Ray Horton of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Noble Gentry Strickland; and his grandfather James Dixon. He is survived by: his parents, Dalma Horton and Renee Gentry Horton; his children, Skylah Marie Horton of Smithfield and James Mason Horton of Smithfield; his girlfriend Tiffany Jones of Smithfield; his siblings, Rachael Horton of Princeton, Amber Morey (Nicholas) of Lucama and Daniel Horton of Linden; his stepfather Donald Jones of Princeton; his grandparents, Wanda O'Neal and Bill Adams of Selma; and his nieces and nephews, Mikayla Brown, Everett Morey, Arlo Morey and Shaun Horton.
