He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dobbin Bailey and Sudie Charles Dawes Bailey; and his wife Suzanne Scott Bailey. He is survived by: his daughter Betty Bailey Pope (David); his granddaughter Erin Pope Walton (Chris); his great grandchild Mia Suzanne Walton; his friend Bailey; and his close friend Jacky Hooks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kenly Funeral & Cremation Service (103 E 2nd St, Kenly, NC 27542). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
