He is survived by: his daughters, Salethea Rowland Baber and Christine Anderson (Billy) of Richmond, VA; his siblings, Katie Rowland Ricketts of Washington, DC, Sylvia Rowland Jones of Smithfield, NC, Gerald Rowland (Shelia) of Smithfield, NC, Linda Rowland Daniels of Garner, NC and Sandra Monroe (Teddy) of Smithfield, NC; his grandchildren, Terrance Washington, Tracy Lee and Latrice Anderson; his aunt Margaret Peacock; and his uncles, William McDaniel and Napoleon McDaniel. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Christian Church (211 Durham St, Smithfield, NC 27577).
