He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow King and Irene King; and his siblings, Ted King, Bonnie Hooks and Linda Mitchell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Wood (Dale) and Lynne Carroll (Swade); his sisters, Sylvia Rose and Margie Wall; his grandchildren, Hailey Godwin, Taylor Hines (Joel) and Amber Baudoux (Clay); and his great grandchildren, Wrenleigh Godwin, Parker Hines, Tanner Melvin and Ellie Melvin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home, Inc. (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice 4515 Falls Of Neuse Road Raleigh, NC 27609.
