She was predeceased by: her parents, Melton Green Thompson and Robenia Daughtry Thompson; her siblings, Gilbert Thompson (Eva), Elbert Thompson (Jewel), Lester Thompson (Myra Jean) and Myrtle Howell (Leon); her nieces, Auline Toler (Bobby) and Jackie Thompson; and her close friend Eddie Hines.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Sue Thompson Ennis, Quinlan Thompson Harward (Tommy), Mel Thompson (Cathy), Fred Thompson, Lisa Thompson Peedin (Tony) and Robin Thompson Tilley (Brooks). She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and two great great great nephews as well as many treasured friends.
