She is survived by: her children, Greg Braswell, Tim Braswell (Vickie) and Gail Braswell Romero (Fabian "Shorty"); her brothers, Billy Mitchell (Diane) and Woodrow "Nubbin" Mitchell (Brenda); and her close friend Tatum "Tater bug". She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church (6439 Brogden Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
