He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Oscar and Nola Belle Capps Parker; his wife Patricia "Pat" Beasley Parker; his siblings, Aaron Oscar Parker, O. C. Parker, Norman Parker, Chester Parker, Mildred Mae Adams and Hilda Faye Hailey; and his half-siblings, Ervin Parker, Sally Ruth Tew and Leola McLamb.
He is survived by: his son K. Ryan Parker (Rosanne Smith) of Raleigh; his sister Judy P. Wood (Raylon); and his sister-in-law Gail Evans of Four Oaks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
