She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne "Zeke" Jefferds; and her son Levi Jefferds. She is survived by: her parents, Gary Carlson and Alice Carlson; her siblings, Shannon Carlson and Scott Carlson; her daughters, Alicia and Brittany Carson; and her grandchildren, Makenzie, Carter, Peyton, Caden and Carson. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Sanders Funeral Home Chapel (806 E Market St, Smithfield, NC 27577).
