She was predeceased by: her parents, June Artis and Corene Lee. She is survived by: her siblings, Lorraine Cooley, Irish Rose Artis and Charles "Taff" Artis; her daughters, Angela Nixon Wright (Kenneth) and Marsha Nixon Smalls (Curtis); and her husband Marshall Nixon. She is also survived by her husband, her daughters and to her entire family.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Christian Church (211 Durham St, Smithfield, NC 27577).
