He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Stevens and Daisy Otto Stevens; his wives, Rosa Vinette "Peaches" Stevens and Eloise Snipes Stevens; his brother Gordon Ray Stevens; and his brother-in-law Wilbur Michael Jr..
He is survived by: his brother Edgar Stevens of Atlanta, GA; his nephew Andrew Stevens (Michelle) of Supply, NC; his godchildren, Sheila Whitley (Stacey) of Smithfield and Spence Powell III of Smithfield; his stepson Bill Snipes (Lisa); his sister Betty Fisher; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Michael, Herman Michael, Johnny Michael and Bobby Michael. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
