It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Lassiter Lore (Smithfield, North Carolina), who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Lassiter; her sister Priscilla Lassiter; her husband Edwin Payne Lore Jr.; and her sister Priscilla Lassiter. She is survived by: her sons, Edwin Lore (Teresa) of Surf City and Stephen Lore (Kay) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Caroline Hurley (Matt), Garrison Lore, Steve Lore (Megan) and William Lore; and her caregivers, Judy George, Cora Prince, Sallie McCoy and Barbara Eason.
