She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Gus and Nancy Dowless Pounds; and her siblings, Geneva, Melissa, Dorothy and Lawrence.
She is survived by: her children, Fletcher Trogdon (Shelia) of Wilson's Mills, Jeanette Mayo (Dwight) of Smithfield, Denise Johnson (Randy) of Smithfield, Harold Trogdon (Cathy) of Smithfield and Lee Trogdon of Smithfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Bakers Chapel Church, 242 Bakers Chapel Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
