He is survived by: his children, Robert'Jason'Lynch (Robert McAuliffe) of Durham, NC, Tyler Lee Lynch of Clayton, NC, Krystal Lynn Lynch and Alyssa Nichole Lynch of Smithfield, NC; his granddaughter Marissa Kaye Welsh of Smithfield, NC.; and his siblings, Celia'Antoinette Lynch of Whiteville, NC, Lucy'Carolyn Lynch Hites (Robert William Hites) of Waynesville, NC and William'Bill'Joseph Lynch (Paige Allison Pence) of Wilmington, NC.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the William T Bain Af&am Lodge (9429 Ten-Ten Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the William T. Bain Masonic Lodge #231 (9429 Ten-Ten Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603).
