It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Percy Acton (Smithfield, North Carolina), who passed away on June 7, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Robert Acton and Mary Louise Austin Acton. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Frawley Acton; his children, Rodney Percy Acton, Jr. and Shelly Acton; his stepdaughters, Cheryll Bargy and Shannon Bargy; his siblings, William Acton, Melvin Acton, Curtis Acton, Richard Acton and Joni Acton; his grandchildren, Matthew Hudson, Jamie Collins, Jessie Collins, Brittany Bargy, Nicole Ellis, Tommy Ellis and Storm Moyer; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Hudson and Savannah Hudson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
