He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Gray Foye Parker and Roy Rogers Barnes, Jr.; his siblings, Reginald Barnes, Milton Barnes and Shelia Gray Barnes; and his daughter Lakesha O'Neal.
He is survived by: his children, Charnise Shaneil Jones (Calvin), Latoya Wright, Roger Darrell Barnes, Jasmine Barnes and Sharmel Dupree; his siblings, Roy Rawlings, Eric Barnes, Kevin Alderman, Tyrone Perry, Terrance Barnes (Sharon), Velvet Parker and Sophelia Barnes; his aunts, Joyce Williams and Diane Foye; and his uncle Charles Gerwin. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; one greatgranddaughter.
