He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margie Parrish Gower of Smithfield and William "Bud" Gower; his wife Harvie Jean Gower; his daughters, Kimberly Gower Byrd (Stephen Clay Byrd) of Smithfield and Melissa Gower Senter (William Everette Senter) of Benson; his siblings, Wayne Gower (Billie Jean) of Smithfield and Janet (Ray Parrish); and his grandchildren, Mary Kathryn Byrd, Matthew Clay Byrd and Aubrey Hope Senter. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
