He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Roland and Irene Roland; and his siblings, Charles Roland, Ann Dunagan and Christine Dunagan.

He is survived by: his son Roy "Will" Roland, Jr. (Jamie); his stepson Jarrod Ramey (Ana); his daughters, Angie Wilkins (Paul) and Marla Blanton (John); his siblings, Jimmy, Jackie, Jerry Roland and Linda Peek; and his grandchildren, Amanda Hicks, Dillon Blanton, Chance Roland, Devon Roland and Brandon Roland.
