It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Lamm Tedder of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive parent Isom (Ettie Price Lamm); her daughter Melissa Carol Joyner; her stepdaughter Gloria Jean Joyner; her son Jerry Cecil Tedder; her parents, Isom Lamm and Ettie Lamm; her daughter Bonnie Carol Tedder Joyner; her granddaughters, Melissa Carol Joyner and Gloria Jean Joyner; her husband Roney Cecil Tedder; her half-brothers, Jimmie Kirkland Griffin and James Ralph Griffin; her children, Donald Thurman Tedder (Sherry), Rueben Isom Tedder (Joy), Roney Michael Tedder, Jason Rodney Tedder (Cyndi) and Joy Kaye Tedder; her daughter-in-law Melanie Smith Tedder; her stepdaughter Margaret Tedder Musacchio; and her half-sisters, Myrtle Gray Toole and Martha Corina Pelletier. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her and her family's honor to the Community & Senior Services of Johnston County or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
