We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2022, at the age of 96, Sue Fleming Mayhew (Smithfield, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin, Sr. and Minnie Belle Honeycutt Fleming; and her husband Kenneth "Pete" Mayhew. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Lasine (Bill Ashworth) of Reidsville, NC, Donna Honeycutt (Glenn) of Four Oaks and Nancy Mayhew of Atlantic Beach, NC; and her grandchildren, Stacy Honeycutt (Clint), Kristina Couden (Jason) and Susan Vann (Nick).

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice House, P.O. Box 1376 Smithfield, NC 27577 or to one's favorite charity.
