Velva Jenkins McLamb Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2025, at the age of 92, Velva Jenkins McLamb of Smithfield, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nelson Jenkins and Florence Smith Jenkins; her husband Robert Campbell "Bob" McLamb; her siblings, Ila Carrigan, Grace Jenkins, Ernest Jenkins, Ray Jenkins, Geneva "Jean" Coppla, Johnny Jenkins, Clayton Jenkins and Earl Jenkins; and her siblings' children, Estelle Jenkins Rogers and Hal Luke Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughters, LouAnn Cooper (David) of Greenville, NC and Beth Sigmon (Kenny) of Winterville, NC; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Hines III, Emily Hines, Elizabeth Hines and Cam Sigmon (Bethany). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
