With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgie Kay Love Heath in Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carah Love and Mary Lilly Hibbs Love; her husband Charles Graham Heath; her son Charles Gregory "Greg" Heath; and her siblings, Peggy Rich, Jean Fayne and H. F. Love.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Crotts and Donna Heath; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Allen Carmichael (Jen) and Amanda Karpinski (Steven); her great grandchild Emma Pearl Carmichael; her sister Shirley Bristow (Bobby); and her pet Little Bit. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church in honor of Mrs. Virgie Heath.
