She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirby Hardison and Grace Hardison (Worrell); her former husband Rodney Ayers; her siblings, Joseph Hardison, Bertha Harper and Dorothy Cernoch; and her grandson Jason Nathaniel Ayers.
She is survived by: her spouse Marine; her children, Steven Douglas Ayers, Wayne Edward Ayers (Julia), James Norman Ayers (Pamela), Deborah Ayers Straw and Cynthia Ayers Parrish (Benjamin, Jr.); her siblings, Harold Hardison, Patricia Godsey and Geraldine Hardison; her grandchildren, Megan Langston (Allen), Lauren Ayers (Dana Plagman), Matthew Cannon (Kristin), Benjamin Parrish III, Caroline Parrish and Blake Parrish; her granddaughter-in-law Jennifer Ayers; her great grandchildren, Ian, Noah Ayers, Emma Grace and Sofie Langston; her children, Emory and Pam Kelly; and her close friends, Tammy, Dave Jones, Marie Newcomer, Sandy Ratliff and Barbara Jean Flanagan. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
