She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Howell and Sarah Pendergraft Howell; her husband Earl Adams; and her siblings, Marshall, Craven Howell and Vernita Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jenny Adams and Laura Bailey (Kyle); her siblings, Charles E. Howell (Hilda), Johnny Howell (Wanda), Bonnie Inosencio (Steve) and Betsy Killette (Ralph); her grandchildren, Denton Bailey, Layne Bailey, Derrick Wilson (Ivy Knott) and Chasity Johnson (Terry); and her great grandchildren, Lilly and Daisy Johnson.
