It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Morgan Jr. of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Susan K. Morgan of Smithfield; his son Andrew Morgan (Lauren Locklear); his grandchild Ayden Morgan; his brothers, George Morgan (Lisa) of Smithfield and Kenneth Ennis (Alisha Massengill); and his mother-in-law Doris Conrad.

“So sad to hear of the passing of William. I always enjoyed being around him when our kids were in school together at JCA. He was always wearing a smile and offering a hand to help. We mourn with the family as he was far too young to be passing at this age. My last memory of William was him giving the Graduation address for the final JCA class as Andrew and my daughter Shelley were graduating together. He brought humor and good advise to the graduates that day as they entered a new stage.”
