She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Guy and Nettie Hill Guy. She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Tom" Burgess; her siblings, Donnie Guy (Kim), Mark Guy (Cindy) and Susan Oljaca (Mark); and her siblings' children, Charlee Williams, Ryan Parr and Logan Guy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New River Community Church (117 Wheeler Creek Rd, Sneads Ferry, NC 28460). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
