She is survived by: her children, Shanon Ray Cavenaugh of Wallace, NC, Adam Jerome Cavenaugh (Anh) of Cary, NC and Amanda Cavenaugh Smith (Greg) of Wilmington, NC; the father of her children Vernon Cavenaugh; her stepdaughter Tammy Sulse (Byrd) of Clinton, NC; her brother James William Atkinson (Holly) of Harrells, NC; her grandchildren, Dalton Cavenaugh, Cortney Cavenaugh, Michael Farabee, River Cavenaugh, Asher Cavenaugh, Amelie Cavenaugh and Arlo Cavenaugh; and her stepgrandchildren, Bradley and Brooke Sulse. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews she loved.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Andrews Mortuary Market Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mott Cemetery (2903 Alpine Church Rd, Harrells, NC 28444).
