He is survived by: his siblings, Joanne Watkins (Jim), John Hausmann (Mickie) and Linda Cochrane (Randy); his niece Jennifer Beecher (Gary); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kylie and Addison; his nephew PJ Watkins (Finnessa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Finn and Owen; his friends, Marie Simms, Amy Stanley and George Simms; and his pet Shadow. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the North Shore Country Club (101 N Shore Dr, Sneads Ferry, NC 28460).
