He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. "W. O." Davis and Sally Davis; and his siblings, Marion Ann Cribb and Buddy Breece (Linda). He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his son James Davis of Garner, N. C; his grandchildren, Christian and Joshua; and his brother Johnny Davis (Kay). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
