He was predeceased by: his father George A. Briggs; and his brother Timothy Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Avant Briggs; his sons, Anthony J. Mazza (Cassidy) and George A. Briggs; his mother Rene Hastings Briggs; and his brother Michael Briggs (Sheila). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
