He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Steve McCraw and Sherry Holt Boinest; his wife Jodi; his stepparents, Geneva McCraw and Trip Boinest (Becky); his sisters, Jordan Boinest Hollett (Ronnie) and Lydia Boinest Becker (Brian); his stepbrothers, Ray Billings, Jeff Billings (Joy) and Billy Billings; his close friends, Alex Starnes (Courtney), Kyle Conner (Randie) and Wesley "Piney" Chester (Katy); and his grandparents, Bill Joe, Mary McCraw, S. W. "Dub" and Christine Holt. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
