He was predeceased by : his parents, Leon Tinnin and Willa Mae Patterson Tinnin. He is survived by : his children, Christopher Tinnin, Marcus Tinnin and Adrian Tinnin; his grandchildren, Allana Tinnin, Avery Tinnin, Remy Tinnin and Willa-Rose Tinnin; and his siblings, Hilda Hester, Sophia Johnson (James), Cleveland Tinnin, Danny Ray Tinnin and Karen Tinnin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sharpe Funeral Home (520 Rosenwald St, Burlington, NC 27217). A wake was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
