He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Gilbert Thompson; and his parents, A. C. Thompson and Violet Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Conklin (Robbie Conklin) of West Jefferson and Mike Thompson of Snow Camp; his grandsons, Chris Conklin (April) of Mooresville and Brian Conklin of Burlington; and his great grandchildren, Carmen and Claire Conklin.
