He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Fox Blackwell Sr. and Minnie Aldeen Cates Blackwell. He is survived by: his daughter Mindy Isley; his grandchildren, Kelly Isley and Jonathan Isley; and his brother Jimmie Blackwell Jr.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Rich & Thompson Chapel - Graham (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253).
