He is survived by: his wife Tammy Gray Brown of Snow Hill, NC; his children, Annie Teasia Brown of Goldsboro, NC, Nicole Brown-Mitchell of Goldsboro, NC, Dewayne Lathan of Trenton, NC, Aaron Brown of Farmville, NC and Byshi Brown of Newark, NJ; and his siblings, Ernestine Coward of Kinston, NC, Carol Jean Taylor of Snow Hill, NC, Irene Faye Sauls of Snow Hill, NC, Brenda Brown of Snow Hill, Bobby Brown of Snow Hill, NC, Arthur Earl Brown of Snow Hill, NC and Hakeem Brown of Snow Hill, NC. He is also survived by step-children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Simro FWB Church (5152 Old Jason Rd, La Grange, NC 28551).
