He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hardy and Carrie Gray Jones (Hardy); and his sisters, Barbara Hardy Barr and Jan Roman. He is survived by: his wife Faye Sutton Hardy; his sons, Chip Hardy (Gina) and Scott Hardy (Skyler); his grandchildren, Ben Hardy (Kathryn), Mary Gray Hardy, Emma-Scott Hardy and Sutton Hardy; and his daughter Connie Brooks (Norman). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Hull Road Original Free Will Baptist Church (3984 Hull Rd, Snow Hill, NC 28580). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the same location.
