She is survived by: her children, Diane V. Edwards (Wayne) of Kinston, Terry V. Skinner (Randy) of Snow Hill, Kin Vaughan (Sue) of Chocowinity and Gene Vaughan (Carol) of Florida; her grandchildren, Nicki S. Wood (Sam) of Snow Hill, Samantha S. Jones (Mickey) of Washington and Charles Vaughan, Jr. (Myjenta) of Asheville; her great grandchildren, Brendon Jones, Ryan Jones and Karaline Vaughan; her brother Earl Davis (Lexine) of Grifton; and her stepgrandchildren, Samantha Merritt (Kyle) of Wilmington and Riley Wood of Wilmington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
