Jones; his grandchildren, Katie Elizabeth Gravatt (David), Garrett Martin Jones (Katlyn), Kayla Jones Lancaster (Vann), Tucker Jones (Leeza), Chrislyn J. King (Christopher), Chase Jones (Olivia), Chelsey Jones Kelley (Matt) and Clayton Jones (Megan); his great grandchildren, Holland Jones, Grayson Jones, Collins Lancaster, Caison Lancaster and Annie Gravatt; his brother Russ Jones; and his niece Deegie Andrews (Ken).

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service (117 NW 3rd St, Snow Hill, NC 28580). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
