With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delia Carlisle Smith (Snow Hill, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Delia Carlisle Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Carlisle and Eula Carlisle; her husband Rev. Dwight Reynolds Smith; her daughter-in-law Lori S. Smith; her grandson Carlyle Scott Smith; and her sister Eleanor Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Stevie Smith (Katrina) and Scott Smith; her grandchildren, Crystal Ezzell, Malori Price and Parker Mellott; and her great grandchildren, Alyssa Ezzell, Lyla Dawn Smith and Avian Grantham.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 145 Free Gospel Rd, Snow Hill, NC 28580. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
