We bid farewell to Gail Edwards Davis of Snow Hill, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 30, 2025 at the age of 68. Gail touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Gail may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gail touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her son John Norman Evans; her siblings, Sandra Honeycutt (Helen Davenport), Clifton Edwards and Neal Edwards; her close friend Roy Barnes; her grandson Dennis Evans; and her close friend Vanessa Murry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farmville Funeral Home (4226 E Church St, Farmville, NC 27828). A graveside service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Queen Anne Cemetery.
