She is survived by: her children, Melvin Lee, Jr., Nisa Beamon, Asia Whitley and Margaret Lee; her goddaughter Shanika Webb; and her siblings, John Henry Grant, Jerry Grant, Mac Grant, Judy Lucus and Joy Grant.
