He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ray Smith; his children, Garrett Jerome Ray (Ieshia), Barry Lamont Smith (Tracy), Jacqueline Smith-Haddock (Floyd), Marcus Anthony Smith (Shakira) and Margaletta Smith Reid (Willie); his grandchildren, Talasia Annyona Smith, Jacquavious Cornelious Smith, Destinee Smith, Zachary Smith, Dayla Ned, Devyn Ned, Miracle Smith, Kelli Smith, Aniyah Smith and Ja'Kaylin Smith; his siblings, Elder Johnnie Smith, Sr. (Doris), Missionary Clara Smith Shaw, Timothy Smith, Eloise Rountree (James), Cynthia Smith Flemings (Darryl) and Sheila Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Joyner and Leon Ray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other beloved relatives, lifelong friends.
