She was predeceased by : her parents, James Avery and Sally Barnes Avery; and her husband Edd Harrison. She is survived by : her sons, Allen Harrison (Bonnie) of Snow Hill and Wayne Harrison of Emerald Isle; her grandchildren, Joshua Harrison (Rebecca) of Grifton and Brooke H. Jones (Matt) of Snow Hill; and her great grandchildren, Zeke Harrison, Zane Harrison, Eliza Joy Harrison, Mattie Jones and Maylee Jones.
