With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mitchell Eugene Cash (Snow Hill, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2026 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Eugene and Carrie Gray Spikes Cash; his wife Mary Hice Cash; his sister Glenda Cash Moye; and his niece Deena C. Martin.
He is survived by: his son Mitchell Christopher Cash of Greenville; his grandson Layton Cash of Greenville; his siblings, Carolyn Cash Batten (Vernon) of Kinston and Jimmy Cash (Mary) of Newport News, Viginia; and his pet Stella.
