She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie F. Ormond and Anna Davis Ormond; her husband James Guy Jernigan; and her brother Charlie "Bud" Ormond. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Jernigan Beddard (Woody) and James Albert Jernigan II (Tina); her grandchildren, Rusty Beddard (Candace), Melissa Beddard Eakes (Brad), Neil Jernigan (Candace) and Tyler Jernigan; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Jaymes Beddard, Coy Allen Beddard, Grayson Guy Eakes, Anna Brooks Eakes, Landon James Jernigan and Julie Grace Jernigan; and her brothers, A. C. Ormond (Margie) and Doug Ormond. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Snow Hill Cemetery (1112 Kingold Blvd, Snow Hill, NC 28580).
