She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Ricks Mooring and Lula Elizabeth Mooring Pridgen; her husband Johnnie Oliver Murphrey (Jack); and her siblings, Faye M. Holloman, Ricky Mooring, Billy Mooring and Linwood Mooring.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie M. McLawhorn (Johnny) of Hookerton and Karla M. Jennings (Jay) of Snow Hill; her grandchildren, Tracy M. Hayes (Jason), John B. Mclawhorn (Sarah) and Jessica J. Polk (Jonathan); and her great grandchildren, Kade McLawhorn, Madelyn Polk and Charlotte Polk.
