She was predeceased by: her parents, Durward Belmont "D. B." and Nolah Smith Murphrey; her husband Louis William Dail, Sr.; and her brothers, Durward Murphrey, Jack Murphrey, Belmont Murphrey and Colin Murphrey.
She is survived by: her children, Louis William Dail, Jr. (Deborah), Beverly Dail Haley (Mark) and Glenn Durward Dail (Michele); her grandchildren, William David East III (Blair), Ashley Dail Landvater (Jeremy), Spencer Glenn Dail (Lydia), Abbey Michele Dail (Matthew Casteen) and Lydia Haley VanSant (Larry); her great grandchildren, Gentry East, Emily Landvater, Samuel Landvater, Timothy Landvater, Zeke Dail, Paul VanSant and Merritt VanSant; and her caregiver Betty Jean "BJ" Shingleton.
