She was predeceased by: her husband John Q. Adams V; her daughter Meredith Lee Adams; and her father Parlie Lee. She is survived by: her daughter Lauren Frances Adams of Baltimore; her son-in-law Jake Peterson; her mother Geraldine Wheeler Lee of Four Oaks; her uncle Don Wheeler of Durham; her siblings, Michelle Lee Barbour of Four Oaks and Parlie Lee Jr. (Kim Lee) of Four Oaks; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Adams, Gale Nicholson of Norfolk, VA and Butch Adams of Washington, NC.; and her siblings' children, Bryn Barbour (Brandon), Madi Brooke Barbour, Pamela Lee Wood, Preston Lee, Stephanie Hale, Sydney Hale and Avery Hale.
