With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tim Shivar of Snow Hill, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Tim left this world on August 6, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Tim may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tim touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Anderson; his son-in-law Andy; his grandchildren, Hayden and Whitley Anderson of Winterville; his siblings, Curtis Shivar (Virginia), D. W. Shivar (Edie) and Marian Barwick; and his sister-in-law Trudy Shivar. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
